Forbidden Days first book to an awesome Series

What made the experience of listening to Forbidden Days the most enjoyable?

It was written very well and had great Characters that I loved an Have enjoyed throughout this awesome Series.

Who was your favorite character and why?

All the Characters in this book are my Favorite

What does Pyper Down bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Pyper Down is one of my favorite Narrator's and has influenced me to listen to many books I may have skipped but when a book shows Pyper Down as the Narrator it is an automatic download for me.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Absolutely

I am not very good at writing reviews but with this book I just had to let everyone know how good it was and how awesome the rest of the series is I just cannot wait for all of the series to be on Audible and very very soon as I am having Withdrawals.

Lol moments

loved this book and laughed at times when reading it. Really loved listening to it. When will the next book come on audible?

mixed feelings

Over all I thought it was a very good story. lots of love , drama and suspense..... but the ending left so many loose ends that I feel a bit cheated. What happens next? Book 2 carries on with one of the side characters but does not touch again on what happened at the end of book 1.

I want to be a First!

I like this book. It was really good. Full of action and adventure... I liked how Bas, the vampire, couldn't mind warp Park, the female lead. Park was all like "wait, you can't kidnap me..." while Bas was like "why isn't my mind warp working...." it was funny.

I like how the story played out. It was interesting to see all the pieces come together, and see the battles with the bad guys play out to.

Now the end... I am bit upset about what happen to Bas and Park's father's friend... Seriously... WTF!!!

This is worth a credit or sale. It's a bit pricey...over 10 bucks so I wouldn't recommend for a buy.

Narration was pretty good. Not wonderful but not horrible either.

ANOTHER AWESOME BOOK!!

I ABSOLUTELY LOOOOVE THIS SERIES ALREADY!!!!!! What an AMAZING STORY!! Park is a STRONG MINDED, TAKE NO CRAP kinda woman!! That is until HE comes into her life!! They have to go through hell for each other, but what good relationship doesnt!! WOW, what a ride!! I CAN NOT wait for the next book!

Escapism

If escapism if all you seek this will fit the bill; but if you are looking for a little more... not so much.

*Spoiler alert- first problem.
How does Zach know where Park lived? How did he get in? And why did the police miss the dress? Seriously, if you know anything about police detective work you know that they bag everything and sort it later.
Zach says that the cops didn't know what she wore on the date. Why not? Cops would have interrogated him when they arrested him. I could go on, but it's already ridiculous.

Second problem.
The author doesn't go into a lot of detail at critical moments. I can forgive the brief sex scenes because they aren't for everyone. But at the climax of the book; the point that everything has been leading up to, she gives a brief overview from a new character's perspective. It's an emensce let down that completely deflated the story and made the author lose all credibility with me.

I think the reason I feel so strongly is because I could see an overall good story idea. In the end though, this reads more like a first draft than a completed book.

Never Disappointing!

What made the experience of listening to Forbidden Days the most enjoyable?

I’ve been a fan of C.L Quinn’s vampire series, “The Firsts”, since reading her first book, and I’m glad it’s now on audio. Even though I’ve already read the book, listening to it gives it more life as if the characters were real. I’m looking forward to listening to her other audio books!

Ummm....

I gave the story a three because the summary made it sound interesting even the 1st 2 chapters were interesting. but I couldn't hand the narrator. she sounds robotic and board. so I couldn't keep listening.

I really enjoyed this audio story. I've read this author, a favorite of mine, and decided to try the audible version. I'm glad I did, as I enjoyed listening to such a fun performance of some of my favorite characters. Thanx, C.L.Quinn and Pyper Down. The stories just get better from here, so I plan to stick around.

Pretty Good

I’ve actually read this series before and I’m going through it again it’s pretty good has enough action has enough of everything in it and it involves different characters and not just focused on one
The narrator I really couldn’t tell you what it sounded like actually she didn’t do too bad of a job and she kept it interesting the voices were different but it didn’t distract from the story She actually made it sound kind of cute
Overall it’s not really boring or anything that occupies the time was actually a pretty good story to be honest on to the next one
