Adaze and Leilani: CEO rescued by local firefighter... talk about different worlds! How different? - Ice queen vs. super friendly, a little age-gap, a personal assistant vs. several close co-workers/friends, outgoing and outdoorsy vs. introverted workaholic.

Despite all those differences, they couldn't ignore the attraction between them. A definite heat that could burn all obstacles...maybe. It's a good read, especially with all the 🔥🔥🔥

Narration cooled the spice

First things first: I may have missed it but I didn’t see a TW from the author. If mommy kink, bondage, and rimming are something you try to avoid, this is NOT the story for you.
I enjoyed the first story in the series Lori Prince narrated but this one was a miss for me. Outside of dialogue, I enjoyed the narration. However, Leilani’s voice sounded like an occasionally hoarse Ms. Rachel, which may be up someone’s alley but it isn’t mine. Paired with the mommy kink, the child-like voice was too much for me. I had to skip some parts. Also wasn’t a fan of the unnatural cadence of the voices during the spicy scenes. Overall, a decent story for those who this specific category of spice is a yum but the voices left me cringing.

“Flame Kissed” by Emily Hayes, narrated by Lori Prince

I loved everything about this book; from the opening rescue, to the growing romance, to the freaking pure, amazing, hot sex! I didn’t think I had a “Mommy Kink” but maybe I was wrong! Haaaa. Leilani and Adaze are interesting women, pretty much complete opposites and smoking hot! I listened to the Audible book but I think I need to buy the paperback as well. Lori Prince did a great job with the narration!

that being said for the first time I was not happy with Lori Princes performance with this book. She made Leilani sound like a little girl and it was made worse during the sex scenes .. when I read this book it was pretty hot .. listening to it made me cringe for the first time during a Emily Hayes book and with Lori Prince .. it was just really off ... but maybe it was just me .. but the way she made it sound when Adaze said "babbbyy" and Leilani responded with her " mommy " wow cringe worthy in my ears 😂.. sorry 😐.. 😒 like I said maybe it was just me . but the book was still great I guess I just think when it comes to sex scenes Abby Craden has me spoiled 😂🌶️🔥🌶️🔥😉🤔🥵 hot hot hot 😏

The relationship between the two

I loved how they came together and how the older of the two changed to meet the needs of the younger character. So they could be happy together

Not My Taste

I could not believe the huge differences in the two women - billionaire CEO with a humble fire fighter.. add the ‘Mommy- Dom- Submissive aspect of the two MC sexual relationship coupled with the voices of the two…. This is the first Lori Prince narrated book that I could not finish. I could not stand to hear the dialog- I felt like Leilani sacrificed herself for this disrespectful and demoralizing relationship. Skip this one. The best part was the rescue in the beginning.

Not as good as the previous ones

There was more sex than story, the beginning and the last part were very good, but there was not a lot of story in between narration was excellent.
