Two older women with past issues. Lucinda's are the worst, as she needs to be in control and believes what past women have said about her. She believes she can never have a relationship.

The Chief is trying hard, but it doesn't help if Lucinda doesn't talk to her and walks away.

I thought the book was good

It took me some time to get used to the narration, but once I did, I really enjoyed it. It was well written, great MC, and excellent drama.
