Always Just Right

Blaise hits all of the sweet spots for the genre & just in delivery in general. Narration is spot on.

actual banger

i don't like most of what i have read by Blaise Corvin, but this series has been an absolute banger. Exciting, fun, interesting. Even the ending was hype. Book 1 was super good. Book 2 was good too. Anyway. pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend it if youre just looking for a good time.

Twists and turns abound

This book picks up several months into the shift, taking off from there. New enemies abound; the shift isn't what it seems, are the invaders the true enemies?

Find out as the ending will leave you with quite the surprise. Think “Hello There” and you'll get a hint of what's coming.

I really loved the 1st book. This one a lot less.

I loved the 1st novel it made it seem like there was a build up to some badassness from the MC. He had a goal, and did everything any of us would do to make it happen.

But book 2 introduces the main antagonist and a co MC of sorts. It was hard to take in that after all that planning preparation to see it all made so Moot. Or that the MC who gained all these skills looked so utterly pathetic once the co MC comes in. Makes you want to put it down right there. I get the play was to introduce a female character as something more significant than a damsel in distress, but for a reader so into his growth it was tough to stomach his stagnation and watching everyone blowing pass him for plot and story development.

too many genre in one book

ok so the 1st book was mostly a world builder as the MC prepares for the big switch.This book the author just threw all the popular topics into this and honestly after finishing I don't know if I like it or not.

interesting book

I loved book 1, book 2 took some majorly wierd turns and went from 1 type of book to another.... still a good book just not what I was expecting after book 1... it changed from 1 apocalypse type book to another kinda pulled me from the immersion, but other than that and some of the stuff the main character does that common sense would have told most people to do he doesn't do.

the thing with switching from aliens invading to zombies threw me off alot. .
the other thing if you go back in time make a bunch of preparation wouldn't you even anonymously send emails or letters to major governments or even the public to inform of what's to come even if they dont believe you to just try??? and if that failed he was such a good hacker at a really young age why not hack into all the news media across the world to announce what is to come and if people don't believe oh well thats on them... but he didn't make any effort at all to inform anyone * that just blew my mind*

Pretty good read

MC developed and not yet overpowered. Also,, has an excellent back story and unique power origination plot

This series does not get the recognition it deserves, it’s really good!

The narrator brings what is a already a fantastic story to an even higher level

I’m loving the low magic survival and mysticism in this book, how they have implemented rpg elements and not knowing what’s going to happen next

Awesome compounded mashup!

I loved that the first book was this crazy mashup of genres, and this one further compounds on those with another few, which is pretty fun! This book, like the first, is extremely well written, and has some more nuanced side characters with some depth to them.

I can't wait for the next one to come out!
