The ending was amazing

Comments regarding the author's narration are unfounded. While he is an Aussie, I (from the US,) had no trouble understanding because he speaks clearly and presumably writes without his native patois. My only critique with the performance is that I lost track of which character was speaking due to little differentiation in the narrator's voice.
Will listen again for better enjoyment.

I think this is one of the author’s early books. His newer ones are better. Check out thunder heist. The magic concept was cool but story wasn’t anything unique.

Only a Brit could possibly understand the story. It might be a terrific story but the narrator is unintelligible.
