Religious Trauma

I’m trying to gather my thoughts about this book. It explores religious trauma, and that usually isn’t my jam since it is a heavy topic and it makes me angry. But I enjoyed this book and it is good to see people come out the other side of that.

The narration was fantastic! Savannah and Brandon did an amazing job!

Exciting and Hot!

I didn’t expect to love this story as much as I did! I loved Cal and Scottie so much. They were hot and heavy right off the bat, then some miscommunication/no communication impeded and they stopped talking. Though they couldn’t stop thinking of each other. He’s a Wildland Hotshot and she’s a paramedic. He’s the town playboy and she’s coming to town to escape a religious cult. They both have severe trauma, and help each other to seek help and help each other heal.

This is definitely a character driven story with so many layers and I felt it was done so well. They get trapped during a snowstorm for a few days and are forced to figure out why they fell apart early on, forced to face their pasts and trauma, and realize their feelings for each other. Their traumas I felt were handle with care and compassion and truly loved this story! The spice was so good and Cal’s mouth could light a fire on its own! I can’t wait to get to know the other guys of this team!

Smoking Hot

I’m not normally a “love at first sight” kind of person but this one hit just right. Scottie and Callahan’s chemistry is organic and nearly instant. I LOVED the fact that both characters were first responders and they understood the stress and demands of each other’s career. Plus, the whole firefighter thing… smoking hot 😮‍💨🔥

This audio was fantastic. Both Savannah Thomas and Brandon Francis were amazing and perfect at giving us the best Scottie and Callahan. I laughed, I swooned and fanned my face. Do not let the cover fool you. This book is HOT!

If you’re into gritty, healing-centered romance with unforgettable tension, Fight is worth the read. The duet narration in the audiobook was phenomenal—Savannah Thomas voicing Scottie was especially perfect. I’m already queuing up book two.

Good story

I really love the backstory and the characters. The narrators were amazing as well. I loved that it was fast paced and emotional and I could really get into the story!

I can’t believe I waited to long to listened to this book. It had everything! Emotional, happy, scary, and a sexy firefighter lol. This couple!! I’m just in love.
Callahan is just written soo well, I loved him and I was mad at him then he’s turns it all around and become a top notch book boyfriend. Yes he made me mad but I get it, he well makes up for it.
Prescott is a strong character, she’s trying to move on with her life from her past that was controlling and stifling, and is now on her own being a EMT. The way these characters mold to each other and become so powerful. I’m just swoon lol.
I would definitely recommend this audiobook and I can’t wait to start the next one in this series.

Absolutely love it!

Damn Callahan!!! This was hot as shittttt!!! The whole book had me wrapped the heck in. The connection and banter between Callahan and Scottie was fire. The spice was spicing. The pace of this was amazing. The plot was great and the twist and turns were great! Moving right to book 2! I can’t say enough about this audible and have referred everyone to do audio or immersive reading for this. Soo good!

I’d Fight for Callahan & Scottie Anyday!!

This audio is 🔥🥵!! It’s duet style & the narrators (Savannah Thomas & Brandon Francis) were incredible!! They didn’t just “read” the story, they acted it & brought it to life SO WELL! I knew it was going to be good, but I was blown away!

Sloane is a favorite author of mine, Lakes Hockey is the best hockey series, so I expected this one would be good, but I was speechless for Cal & Scottie! I loved them so so much!! Obviously it’s not hockey, but I am SAT for these hotshots!!

Scottie is a woman escaping a twisted past & Cal is the hotshot who doesn’t settle down. Their instant attraction, their banter (top tier!), their chemistry, their SPICE(🥵) is all fantastic! I mean even when they have the worst communication mishap (it works okay), they’re still bantering like no other!

How they come back together is one of my favorite “come back together” sequence in any book I’ve read! Even when they are screaming at each other 😂…& Sloane needs an award for making Battleship sexy hahahaha!!

But seriously, you need them in your life!!!
