Okay Sloane you dirty dirty biiiiishhhhhh! Coach sully was so freaking hot, while listening I was like omg can anyone else hear this. It was so freaking spicy! 🥵 Kendra and Sully are everything. The narrator’s were amazing. We love to see a person of color succeed. Such a great read/listen. Can’t wait for the rest of this series!

Tension Done Right

The way this duet had me clutching my pearls. I’m in awe. I could feel every single emotion and could imagine every interaction. Definitely will come back to this.

Coaching has Never Been So Hot!

Coach Sully by Sloane St. James turned out to be such a sizzling surprise! I picked this one up after listening to the Lakes Hockey series—where we only got glimpses of Sully—and wow, this book shows him in a whole new light. Filthy mouth? ✔️ Various kinks? ✔️ The chemistry between Sully and Kendra is absolutely off the charts, and Sloane St. James delivers her signature spice in full force here.

After Sully retires, he gets the chance to coach a brand-new women’s professional hockey team—but there’s a big twist: the opportunity is tied to a dating show Kendra had originally asked him to join. The setup leads to plenty of tension, banter, and emotional moments as these two navigate their complicated connection. Watching their love story develop through all the chaos and heat was everything.

The narration really brought the characters to life, and I found myself totally hooked. It’s steamy, emotional, and full of heart—just what I expect (and love) from Sloane St. James. Add in the delicious age gap trope, and this book becomes an irresistible mix of passion and heart. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys a lot of spice with their sports romance!

Only pregnancy trope book I’ve enjoyed

Good god the mouth on Sully had me FERAL!!! Every steamy scene was so filthy and hot - Christian Fox DELIVERED with the narration. Normally I don’t listen to the unexpected pregnancy trope, but I’ve listened to all of Sloane’s books so this was my last on my list and it didn’t disappoint. I was eating up how in love Sully was with Kendra and how much he cared for her from the beginning.

Great duet audio

I went in totally blind to this book, because I loved the Lakes so much. I wasn’t disappointed! Kendra and Sully were so cute and sweet! I wish they didn’t sneak around, but I understood why they did. The audiobook was INCREDIBLE! I love Christian Fox so much, and J Shani Michaels was awesome too! Then in duet!!! So good
