Author has much better books.
Erin Zak has way better books out there. this one was so hard to finish and it just ends. I didn't feel like there was much of a wrap up, it just ended. The narrator made it sound so robotic. If you read this one first don't give up on Erin Zak!

One of my favorite books.
This is a great book. The characters are totally relatable. I’d have never guessed this came from a first time author. The narration was mediocre, but the story is so strong, it doesn’t matter.

Enjoyed the book.

Unique Storyline and unforgettable characters
in the last year I have discovered Erin Zak's presence in the wlw/lesfic world. Ms Zak is a gifted story teller with complex plots, twists and turns, humor and authenticity. Ms. Zak writes about women who are real-world people. Her characters are believable and likable with a share of sinister or emotionally unhealthy characters. I love the setting of Chicago and Michigan with an authentic Midwestern USA vibe. looking forward to reading the rest of her works.

Terrible, even by the standards of the genre
I know a lot of lesbian romances are cheesy and formulaic, but this one is actually just badly written. Couldn’t get through more than an hour

There was way too much unnecessary drama. It was sort of irritating to read closer to the middle end of the book.
