Great Story & Narration🎧 Sweet & Spicy🔥

This book captivated me from start to end. S.L. Scott is a gift author, she creates stories that are not only interesting but ones you can relate to, whether realistically or ones you dreamed of having. (escapism at its best) Her characters are complex and well developed, I liked the two leads in this book. Mallory, a smart and independent woman who is focused on finishing her last year of college. She has two months off from school so she decided to spend that time with her friend Sunny in Hawaii. I loved her sass and spirit and when she meets Evan at the airport she is not shy to share that sass with him. Mallory could see Evan was a real player but there was something about him that drew her to him. One thing leads to another and she winds up doing something she never does, has a one night stand with a player. It was such a great night she thought it may mean more, unfortunately Evan did not feel the same or so she thought. The chemistry between them could not be denied. I loved how they went back and forth, how they danced around what they were feeling, he was in complete denial and she was just pissed at his behavior. There is never a dull moment in this book, there is plenty of drama, angst, a hiccup or two and a smoking hot buildup to a wonderful romance. This is the first book in a three book series and their relationship is finally off to a good start, as they both realize their love. I am looking forward to what comes next for these two. Also curious about a few other things, want to know more about Noah and what the deal is with him and Evan. S.L Scott thank you for another great story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross are fantastic narrators and voice artists. They bring these characters to life, give each their own voice and personality, as well as heart and attitude. They humanize and portray these characters perfectly, capturing their passion and emotions which reflects in their performance. They set the perfect tone for the story and their duet performance enhances it to another level of greatness. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another amazing listen🎧

Escape To Paradise!

Falling for the Playboy (The Playboy in Paradise Trilogy Book One) is a contemporary, new adult romance told in dual pov. This is a entertaining listen with heaps of fudge and mudge between Evan and Mallory. A slice of angst, mounds of melodrama, & oodles of romantic moments sprInkled through the pages. Looking forward to listening to the next audio in this triology.

Narators Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross duet narration set a perfect tempo for this romance. Character's traits were illustrated perfectly. Capturing all the right sentiments in the right places for each character.

A fun listen with adept narators.

This fast paced romance was good, but for me left a lot of unanswered questions!
A whirlwind summer, with a few bumps and a lot of sex.
Great characters & amazing narration.
This is book 1 with an HEA.

This is the first book in the Playboy in Paradise Series. This is a great start to this Series, sets in Hawaii! Evan and Mallory's story is sweet, fun, and emotional. They share an instant attraction, and an undeniable chemistry. I love the characters, the storyline, and the scenery. Evan, a playboy, is a complex character, and I can't wait to know more about him and Mallory, in the next book in the Series, Redeeming the Playboy. Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross did a great job with the narration, as always! I enjoyed listening this story.

First in a series with fantastic narration

Overall, I enjoyed the book, which was only elevated because of the narration (I'm a huge fan of Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott and their duets are excellent)

The book, follows Mallory and Evan. Note that this the first of three books that follows this couple. There is push and pull with this couple- Evan especially isn't sure he's able to have a relationship so while he likes Mallory, he pulls back often. And Mallory is really likes Evan but also has an odd relationship with other people. It might be my preference but I just prefer complete focus. The push and pull gets a little aggravating after a while. But overall, I rooted for this couple and the story ends relatively happily, though as noted, this is the first of 3 books. I will read the other two stories to see what happens.
