will have to read in book form

The narrator speaks much to quickly and with few brakes between characters. The premise of the book is great but it was hard to listen for me.

holding out hope,

i follow this author on YouTube and have read her other series, I'm hoping this narration was a glitch and a new version of the audio will be out. But it sounds decent on x.7. i don't want to judge the entire series on one bad narration performance, and know there's potential for the future books.
Try Daidreths Assassin if you don't believe me that this performance needs to be taken with a grain of salt for the 2024 audible release of Ensaadi. I look forward to seeing to seeing the rest of the rest of the series.

Book Goblin needs to Slow Down

The story is well written, and at least the author knows how to pronounce all the fantasy names, but she reads very fast. adjusting the speed in the player just makes everything sound off. I know Book Goblin is excited about the story, but remember the rest of us don't know it yet!

I feel like the story could have used more world building, and I never really felt connected to any of the characters. I listened to the audiobook which had several errors in the form of repeated lines.

Unlistenable

The story is nice and I like the writing…


But, please Author… hire a professional voice actor! You are not good at reading out loud… your books deserve a proper narrator and without it their audiobooks will never sell. I won’t get a refund to support you but.., Hire a professional!
