Formula executed well

There's nothing especially innovative about this book (or the series). It's the Kwai Chang Kane (or Reacher) formula: the wanderer drifts into town and is confronted with a problem, many people are injured by dint of the superior skills of the protagonist, the problem is resolved, and the wanderer drifts back out of town.

In this case, the problem is human trafficking, and the plot runs about as one would expect. There are a few twists, but they're of exactly the sort one could expect from the genre.

While it's formulaic, the writing is good, the supporting cast is well-drawn, the plot is plausible (for the genre) and there is some character growth. Recommended.

Logan Ryles is a true talent. Best author I have read in years!!! Top shelf material.

I liked the suspense and how the events unfolded with twists to the plot until the very end.

Trouble....

Mason Sharpe always finds trouble no matter where he goes! Awesome story! Awesome narration! Very exciting book! On to the next book in the series.

Credit Worthy Series!!!!

End Game by Logan Ryles is a really good book. I believe this was completely worth my time and credit.
Mason Sharpe has become a drifter. First he was in the Army. When he came home he became a homicide detective, then he found love and got engaged. His fiancé was murdered, he quit his job and has since been traveling the country in his truck, living out of the back of it and reluctantly helping people along the way.
Mason was a good detective and when he comes across an accident on an Alabama highway he’s compelled to stop and help. He notices a striking woman and just as quickly she vanishes.
In his quest to find the woman he learns that she’s a local who disappeared 10 years earlier. There’s quite a bit of mystery surrounding her and you won’t find out if the woman is really the girl who disappeared until almost the end. The story takes a few unexpected turns and has an ending I never saw coming. And of course when everything is resolved Mason moves on again…
Andy Ingalls does a fantastic job narrating.
This book has my VERY HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION.

Loves the Characters and Plot!

Love the plot the character development…he is like a cross between Jack Reacher and Peter Ash!

A must listen. Don’t let the summary fool you…it’s a little rough and tough…but Lord, what a book!

The whole thing was so wonderful and satisfying. The narrator was excellent, whatever he felt, tou felt. I’ll be looking into more books narrated by this great man who brings emotions.
