Practical

So many books show you what personality disorders are but rarely do they tell you how to deal with these people. This book is right on and is a very practical for dealing with the ever increasing toxic people in the world.

I learned SO much from this book. I thought I knew the categories of emotional vampires but I was definitely off. This book is well written and gives wonderful examples of each type of vampire and even some ideas of how to handle them. I learned some techniques to use with a vampire that is related to me. lol. Can't wait to try it out!

The book gave me some excellent stategies that I plan to put into pratice from this day forward in dealing with my vampire spouse. Knowledge is power.

Children Of The Night

Many helpful elements, but there are also uncertainties, confusion, and questions about many other points. For example, the author claims that we are all manipulative, but by definition, manipulative behavior is a negative way to influence others; therefore, we may be ''something'' but not manipulative. Saying that would be too extreme. Overall, it's a great book.
