The interaction of people occurs at two levels: logical and emotional. We are used to paying more attention to the conscious, verbal level of interaction; at the same time, to understand another person and better communication, it is worth learning how to use the emotional level.
Perceiving someone's behavior, it is important to pay attention not only to the actions but also to their own emotional reaction. Realizing also how the other feels himself, one can make assumptions about his internal goals and intentions. When planning your own behavior, you have to understand what your emotions are. This is because people are not very aware of their emotions, even you.
In this book, we look at various approaches to how relevant and necessary emotions are and analyze in detail what is meant by the terms “emotional intelligence” and “emotional competence” and what a person with high EQ represents. We will also look at the basic concepts of “positive” and “negative” emotions and the roles that they play in our life (personal and working). We also consider the awareness of the emotions of other people and in various ways of a deeper understanding of another person’s inner world, and the ways and methods of managing your emotions.
