Edin is book two of the Monstrous series, a post-apocalyptic m/m fantasy series that focuses on monsters and human men falling in love. The story contains explicit content, including graphic depictions of torture and violence, and mentions PTSD.

Michael Lesley was perfect in this!!!!!

I already loved this series and Michael Lesley just blew the narration out of the water!!!! There was a distinction between characters so you always knew who was speaking, the narration immersed you into the story completely. I absolutely cannot wait to listen to him in the rest of the series, especially my favorite (Moth and Charlie 😍😍😍)

this whole series has been amazing so far. I love the characters, the world building, and the voice of the reader. he does an amazing job for all the characters. I seriously can not wait for the next book

Edin and Hunter

What a great second book to the series! Edin is such a big sweetheart, and I loved him and Hunter together. I really enjoyed the quest they were on and catching up with Wyn and Danny from Soul Eater. Excited to start book 3. Michael Lesley did a fantastic job narrating, really captures the essence of the characters. Highly recommend!

I've read this book 3x on kindle and now I'm so glad I tried the audiobook. Edin's voice was SOOO perfect. amazing series.

Loved Erin

While I don’t love this one as much as Soul Eater, I still really enjoyed it. Edin is such a lovable guy, and the story was gripping and exciting. I loved the cameos we got of wyn and Danny too.

I guess I just didn’t love Edin and Hunter as a couple as much as Wyn and Danny. I didn’t find Hunter as lovable and sympathetic as Danny, though I liked his insecurities.

The narration was great. Michael Lesley is such a great narrator that he makes listening to this awesome series even more fun than reading it. So the audio is a must for me!

Can’t wait for book 3!

Incredible Story and Well-Crafted Characters!

This one is a “must read,” but I suggest reading book 1 (The Soul Eater) beforehand. In any case, the protagonists are so well-written and unique, but I think the very best aspect of the novel is the manner in which the places and action sequences absolutely come to life on the page! Excellent!!

I love how my favorite series is coming to life! Edin and Hunter’s story is everything I wanted it to be. Perfect voices for everyone! Absolutely brilliant!

When I originally read this, I pretty much thought Hunter was an ass for a good part of the book, his VA really humanized him for me and softened his abrasiveness. Excellent performance.

Suave Edin!!!!

If anyone can break the walls down of a disabled military bad ass it IS Edin!!! This story was fast paced excellent excitement!!! It was a lot about loyalty in friendship and with lovers!!! Exceptional narration as well!!!!
