Together, they travel through the remains of Gamma, a city long forgotten. While they search for a key that will change how they see the entire world underneath the ocean, they find themselves growing closer. Soon enough, they realize that perhaps hiding their entire lives has prevented them from experiencing the greatest part of life.

As if I'm right there

The voice actors here do an INCREDIBLE job. His voice is the epitome of yearning for Makeetes and hers is perfect for our morally gray Ace ❤️
I really hope that we get the audiobook as soon as the next book comes out!

Absolutely love Maketes!!!

I absolutely love anything written by Emma Hamm in the deep water series is no exception. The narrators for the series have been absolutely exceptional. They have truly brought each individual character to life in each book.

Such a fun, unique series!

I cannot get enough of these mermen and how down bad they are for their women! I didn’t know if I’d love this one because of how “sunshine” Maketes is, but I really enjoyed this, and I devoured this audio in about a day.

Same Old, Same Old

I like the concept even if it's really stupid. This kind of dragged, but picked up towards the end. The loss of the droid is really poignant (nightmare fuel) and I hope it is found in the next one.

Amazing narrator’s

This is one of my favorites. The audio added so much to an already great story. The narrators really added so much depth to the characters

Beautiful fantastic and love story

Love the narration, intricate details of the underwater cities where people moved after the climate change made the surface of the Earth uninhabitable, interesting turns of the story, how all the emotions are described and evolution of feelings. Book is about a man and a woman, who were able to overcome their differences, their fears and traumas to build beautiful relations. Of course it’s a romantic sexual story as well but nicely written. I have read only this series by Emma Hamm, really loved it.

Loved it!!

I cried at the end! This sent me through a whirlwind of emotions. I have felt many of the things Ace feels about herself and it was so beautiful to see Maketes reassure her and also have similar issues. I think this might be my favorite out of the 3 books!

Love this series

Great fantasy. Keeps me interested and enchanted by the different creatures! Excellent narrators. I will listen to this several times in the background.

Best binge in a long time

I can't step away from this series and this book on particular!!!! they just keep getting better, and don't even get me started on the narrators because I'm in love with both of their voices. ❤️❤️❤️
