my review

hard to get into then it happened. last 3 chapters was the best good read

Okay

Not a 5 star by any stretch, but easy listening and enough of a tale to keep one interested. Narrator is a bit dry, but nice on the ears. I would reccomend this for a car trip or something to follow while doing housework.

Drawn out

Way slow The story was OK but it was really drawn out I even speed it up to speed of the audiobook and still it was drawn out

I would have returned this if I could’ve. The book was better than the narrator.

Enjoyable, but predicable

This is an enjoyable story. The plot was set up well, with a nice premise. However, the twists-and-turns in the plot were fairly predicable and I wasn't surprised once.

If you want a mystery that is relaxing to read, this is well-written and enjoyable. If you want one that has a great deal of anticipation and mystery, this book probably isn't for you.

Kept my interest from beginning to end.

It was OK. It held my interest. I've listened to a lot of audio books. It's not one I will listen to again but it passed the time while I was working.

Good Story

I enjoyed listening to this book.

The plot has twists and turns and the ending was a surprise.

Natalie Gold did a good narration.

Good

I like mysteries so this was a good choice for a quiet day. I might try another by this author one day. It was interesting enough to keep my attention and I didn’t figure out who did it beforehand but it ended abruptly which felt odd in this story.

This story had you second guessing right up until the end. I definitely recommend listening.

AMATEURISH

A bit dragged out for me. One major flaw was that all the main characters had mens’ names - including the women! This made the book hard to follow. Women named Sam & Joe? Why? Especially since there was only one narrator which happened to be a woman. All through the book I struggled to know who the narrator was talking about or portraying. They all sounded pretty much the same as well. The story was weak & anti-climatic. Take a pass on this one.
