Great Fun

Meddelin's mom catfishes a guy into a date for her. At the end of the date things take a turn for the worse. Meddelin talking with her aunties is so funny. Since this book has come out, all I've heard is how good it is. So I waited not wanting to be disappointed, now I'm just disappointed that I waited for so long. I liked Meddelin and Nathan, It was sad to hear when they broke up. I loved this book, It was all just funny. I can't wait til the next book.

Laughing at black humor.

I enjoyed the book very much. The accents were the best! The twists and turns were amazing. I didn’t have a clue!!

Worth the credit!

Loving this and the voice actor who narrates. An original story with great cultural context. Funny and entertaining, sweet and sentimental. Not too detailed about the murder. Relaxing and not stressful. Someone send me four Aunties like this!

Light hearted fun murder

It's a nice story. The characters are great and have their own individual personalities. Hilarious hijinks. Overall, quick to get through and keeps your attention.

If you like sitcoms, you'll love it

It is VERY silly. In that it relies on a lot of misunderstandings, terrible communication, and characters who don't take serious situations seriously. I will say it's not to my taste but it was interesting. I just prefer to not groan in frustration at obviously stupid actions/ reactions.

Light hearted but lengthy

The book was fine overall. The first 1/3 moved at a good pace but from there it felt a little dragged out.

That being said, the narrator was fantastic!

Would make a good movie

The story is cute. I love the mom and aunties. Just the main character was a bit frustrating. I was happy when she grew a bit more backbone at the end.

Fun and engaging

Exciting and fun look at an endearing family of Asian aunties and the problems they fix! lol! I hope there’s more to come.
