I love everything Emily writes. but this version of her is so different and so good. I can feel Emily in all of the dialogue and feelings
I can't wait til the next one!

Small town witches and 3 lost souls

I absolutely adore this book. I really enjoyed this universe Emily Rath created. The way Birdie, Jasper, and Dainn bond in their own different torments is just so natural. Birdie, always looking to belong to a family, to have a place to call home. Where she can be herself without judgment. Jasper, always keeping everyone at arms length, but truly longing to let someone know him. And Dainn, a wraith trapped in a forced bond to an evil witch.
I love all the side characters that inhabit the island. The coven Jasper leads(especially Horty), are all so unique in their own way. I can't wait to see where this story goes in the next book.
The dual narration was excellent. Megan Wick, Shane East, and Gregory Salinas really bring all these characters to life!

Emily does it again with her paranormal debut! I absolutely adored Devour Me!

But it should come as no surprise that I am a huge Emily Rath fan and possibly more than a little biased. But I was a fan before I became her PA which just means I get to read her books a bit sooner and was lucky enough to beta read this.

I am obsessed with Birdie, Jasper, and Dáinn. I want to climb Jasper like a tree, and Dáinn makes me want to kick my feet in glee. And as a fellow Capricorn, there was zero doubt that I would love Birdie.

I love Burr Island and its quirky inhabitants. The Coven is made up of some amazing individuals. Hortie is my favorite!

That cliff hanger was brutal. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

The narrators are AMAZING! Meghan Wicks as Birdie, Gregory Salinas as Jasper and Shane East as Dàinn! SAY LESS! Literally my dream team of narrators for this book.

Such a great story and audio!

Okay, this was FUN! Devour Me was creative, chaotic, a little dark, and had some of the BEST BANTER. The dynamic between Dáinn, Jasper, and Birdie completely made this book for me. I loved all of them, the MMCs, the FMC, AND the side characters but watching this unconventional throuple slowly figure each other out was definitely the highlight.

There’s something really sweet underneath all the paranormal chaos about loving and accepting people exactly as they are. Their relationship is messy, dysfunctional, protective, and unconventional, but somehow it works. Add in witches, wraiths, magic, danger, an excellent supporting cast, and a cat that is definitely not just a cat, and I was thoroughly entertained.

And the AUDIOBOOK?! TOP NOTCH.👏 The performances brought so much personality to these characters and absolutely nailed the humor, tension, and banter. This is one where the audio experience really added to the story.

Such a fun start to a dark, spicy paranormal trilogy, and I’m definitely desperate to see where this story goes next!!
