I listened to the other book by this author “You only die twice” and loved it. I didn’t care for this one at all. Not my taste in style.

Boring dialogue and drawn out storyline.
I loved Bryn Kelly’s A Murder to Remember and You Only Die Twice. But Deception Island was disappointing in its lackluster dialogue, scenes that were drawn out and heavy on the gratuitous sex. I highly recommend the other books but this one missed the mark.
