Unstable Magic and Sacrifice

Shannon and Caleb continue to deal with threats to their life and bond between Daryn and Shannon is on the verge of change. The narrator does such a great job portraying the emotions of each character. When Daryn and Shannon finally become intimate, the narration gave me goosebumps at that point. I really enjoyed the audio for this book!.

This was fantastic! I’m loving the theme and the characters in this story. It’s magical with everyday problem of their world. While everyone is trying to learn more about their enemies and keep their powers. It’s on going so we have to see what will happen in the next audiobook.

Great addition

Death of a hunter

This is book 5 of Midlife Demons and Demigods. It picks up where book 4 left off and does end in a cliffhanger. This story is full of danger, betrayal and death. Shannon is dealing with her magic being unbalanced and uncontrollable. I got hooked on this series by book 1 and each book there after builds the story. Answers will be provided, and more questions will come out. The author is a wonderful storyteller that keeps you entertained and in suspense.

A Great Instalment

I am enjoying this series but it is one you have to listen to in order this book picks up the story from where the previous book left off after introducing us to a new character who takes the story to a different angle.

This series is fascinating and this instalment is a great addition to this enjoyable series! The stakes are now higher than ever and our heroine has to deal with dangerous alliances, powerful unstable magic as well as a zombie apocalypse while trying to make a difficult decision which could affect the fate of the country.

This fifth book of “Midlife Demons And Demigods Series” doesn’t disappoint. It's packed with action, twists and turns, is dramatic and suspenseful and continues as the war for humanity has now become a reality. Shannon and Daryn her fated mate are now bonded and continue to battle Renkath for the fate of Spirit Falls. But what sacrifices will need to be made? How will this affect both Shannon and Caleb her son? How will it affect Shannon and Daryn's bond?

I love this author's writing style and the way she weaves such a great balance of paranormal intrigue, action and suspense, The narration by Katie Hagaman is perfectly done.

Wow! Just wow! This book is a twisted story of all that’s happened so far and a taste of things to come, which I have a feeling will be EPIC! I am so enjoying this series, the on the edge of my seat action and Katie Hagaman does such a great job narrating the characters. I can’t wait for more!,

Death of Magic, cliff-hanger ending

Book five in the Midlife Demons and Demigods series. Not fair just as the story is getting really interesting it ends on a cliff-hanger, I can not wait to read the next book in this interesting series. There is so much going on in this story with Shannon having a lot happen to her. If you have been following this series do not miss this book. I enjoyed listening to Katie Hagaman narrate this story.
