Mystery of Magic, engaging

The eighth book in the Midlife Demons and Demigods, Daryn and Shannon will have a lot to go through in this story. An explosion at the Hunter Museum, Demon attacks, trouble being caused to the hybrids, what is going on. Another engaging story. I want to listen the next book. I enjoyed listening to Katie Hagaman narrate this story.

I love the nonstop action and so happy to be in this world again! The King is back in hell, his son is dead but there is another unknown traitor in their midst. The hunters just can’t seem to get a break! Katie Hagaman does a great job voicing the story. I’m obsessed with this series!

Things have been hectic and the Hunters have been putting the base to rights. Shannon and Indy are resting and looking through magazines. Their peaceful odyssey is broken when they're is an exploration. The Hunter Museum has been bombed. Only one section was spared. The destruction is taken to the base so everything can be bagged and tagged. It's discovered that most of the destruction is an illusion. The hybrids are being activated but they are weaker. Murders are happening. Someone is looking for the Dark Witch!
Fast paced action that will have the readers holding their breathe!!!.
Katie Hagaman brings the characters to life and has the listener enthralled.

Dark Magic & New Problems

Mysterious explosions, including the Hunter Museum and dark magic threaten Caleb and Shannon. Dead hybrids leave a trail of danger as it turns out artifacts have been stolen. The narration builds up the tension in this story to an intense degree which is only the beginning. It was hard not to be intrigued with the characters as their individual personalities were performed in such a way that distinguished them from each other despite having one narrator. I cannot wait for the next one.

Great addition to series

With each book in this series they are just
getting better and better.
I found this was well balanced and interesting.
The chemistry is good between the characters
and they definitely have a lot of depth to them
and the narrator has done a great job of bringing
the story and characters alive .

I really enjoyed this audiobook I really enjoyed listening to the Narrator telling the story and the story itself is great this is a great audiobook Series leave you wanting more each time.

new villain

so after the demon king is sent back Shannon, Daryn and team are stumped when the Hunter Museum explodes. Making things worse new hybrids turn up but the odd part is they are turning up dead.

Hybrids everywhere

This is book 8 of Midlife Demons and Demigods. It picks up where book 7 left off and does end in a cliffhanger. This is a series worth reading. Each book has held my attention and leaves me excited for the next in the series. This book does not disappoint. The king is back in the Underworld, but hybrids are being slaughtered by demons. There is adventure, suspense and romance. The love story between Shannon and her mate is sweet and romantic.

Has me perplexed and at a loss.

Weirdly I enjoyed the audiobook version more than the ebook version on principle. I listened to the book in one setting and found that it did have action that I thought it lacked while reading the ebook. Not sure if reading the story in chunks shrouded some of the action. I'm still a major fan of the story either way you choose to consume it. I just recommend the audiobook version the most.
