Challenge Of Magic is the twelfth book/audiobook in the Midlife Demons and Demigods series. Each book/audiobook picks up from the last so you're best off starting with the first book/audiobook (Destiny of Magic). This book/audiobook picks up from the battle at the quarry, Mardella, the Dark Witch, is continuing to arrange attacks and the hunters still cannot figure out her end goal. They follow every clue they can, including connection to magical artifacts and rituals that combine objects she has obtained.
The audiobook is narrated by Katie Hagaman who does a wonderful job of presenting the story.
Tia Didmon and Victoria Crawford are excellent writers and I recommend not only this series but all their books! It bears repeating that you should start with the first book/audiobook (Destiny of Magic) and read/listen to the books/audiobooks in order they were written!.

Challenge of Magic

The twelfth story in the Midlife Demons and Demigods, another engaging story in this series. Daryn, Shannon and their team must battle against a vicious dark witch and her hybrid monsters and also stand by her son's side as he comes to grips with what has happened before. A well written story of drama, suspense, evil with twists and turns. I want to listen to the next book. i enjoyed listening to Katie Hagaman narrate the story.

Another thrilling installment in the Midlife Dem series! This audiobook blends magic, mystery, and emotion perfectly. The stakes are higher than ever as the heroine faces a stolen artifact, a brewing war, and the weight of her evolving powers. The emotional tension with her son adds depth, while the demon king plotline keeps things unpredictable. The narrator delivers strong pacing and emotion, bringing the characters and drama to life. If you love paranormal women’s fiction with action, heart, and a touch of darkness, this one’s a must-listen.

Wow, major cliffhanger!

I enjoyed listening to the audiobook too. Oh boy! These hybrids are getting Frankenstein-ish. Mardella seems to be too strong of an adversary. She's also a few sandwiches short of a picnic. You'll want the next book right away. I know I do.

Great Addition

With each new addition to the Midlife Demons and Demigods series I become more intrigued each book leaves me wanting to waiting to listen to the next. Daryn and Shannon are soulmates, who together must search for the lost relics and protect supernaturals and humanity from the attacks from the demons, witches and monsters.

In this addition things are hotting up again as Daryn, Shannon and their team battle against the dark witch and her hybrid monsters. This book continues from where we were left at the battle at the quarry which lead to the loss of Arean, one of the hunters who left behind his pregnant wife Lisa. A loss which resonates through the whole community as deaths although expected are never easy.

This is a series which must be listened to in the correct order, the narration is performed by Katie Hagaman who knows each character so well now and who always gives them her all. She brings these books to life.

Challenge of Magic

Challenge Of Magic is book 12 in the Midlife Demons and Demigods series by the amazing duo of Tia Didmon and Victoria Crawford. Daryn and Shannon and the other Hunters are continued to be bombarded by the Dark Witch Mardella's hybrid creations and just cannot catch a break! This series is a nonstop roller coaster ride that sometimes I just can't catch my breath! Katie Hagaman as always does a superb job voicing the action and the different characters. I'm so torn, I want to see the end of the series so that I know the good guys will win albeit with some losses but at the same time I just don't want it to be over!!

Great audiobook

I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook this is a great story the author did a great job with this novel the Narrator did a great job telling the story I really enjoyed this audiobook a lot this story is really great.

Magic Gone Haywire

Katie Hagaman narrates this book with an intensity that seems to be pulled right from the pages. The aftermath of all the events that happened in this volume was suspenseful and the emotional tension was immense throughout the narrators performance. I enjoyed this audiobook and anticipate more to come.

Outstanding plot

This is the twelfth book in this series and yes
should be read in order as they all follow on from
each other.
As usual the storyline is full of all the right ingredients
for a magical journey.
This book finishes up on a cliffhanger so I’m definitely
looking forward to the next episode.
The narrator has a great ability to bring the book and characters to life.

Great Series

I had the opportunity to receive an audible ARC copy of Challenge Of Magic and I must say I enjoyed listening to it. This is entertaining series is action packed adventure with great characters and a plot that held me captivated. Whether you have the opportunity to read or listen to Challenge of Magic you’re in for a real treat.
