another great listen

an awesome book that I never wanted to turn off. it's always enjoyable when it can keep you on the edge of your seat and you can't wait to turn it back on

Love this series!

Serial killers and Jeremy Winter!!! A religious doing it for God serial killer is on the hunt Old Testament style and Jeremy is on his tail. However this time it is personal, too personal and in the end Jeremy may just lose what he treasures more than anything. Excellent cat and mouse thriller!

Actually pretty good

This series is actually pretty good. Good characters and story line. The author actually knows more words than gd this and gd that, mf this and mf that. I hate authors who use curse words every sentence. If you are looking for something well written give this series a try..

Great thriller

Enjoyed the chase. The serial killer pulled in a few twists that challenged the FBI detectives. The side story with the Colonel was also enthralling.

I couldn't stop listening!

absolutely love the Jeremy Winter books so far! I couldn't stop listening. Excellent writing, narration was on point and I live the story as it kept me interested to the end!

Another Great Jeremy Winter Thriller

Jeremy Winter now a retired FBI agent just can’t get away from Cromwell. What else could this man do to Jeremy? While Maggie is chasing a serial killer cross country the unimaginable happens and it doesn’t matter what Cromwell says or does Jeremy is on the case. Are they going to find this killer in time to save Maggie’s only family she has left? Is Cromwell going to get away with his war crimes? This book makes it so you don’t want to stop listening! Can’t wait to listen to book number 3

Could not finish

The story line was ok, but the narrative was just poor. I gave up after several chapters. I made it through Book 1 although the narrator is the same. I just could not take it any more. To bad, I was hoping for another great series.

Overall a good story. The narrator was not so great. Monotone reading at times, not putting emphasis where needed and the way he said “thank” drove me nuts. I guess it’s a soft “th”. and noticeable because he said it at least 100 times.

One liners

Aside from likable characters, even the villain is complex in the way Norman Bates is complex, this is a pretty standard plot: retired government agent gets recalled to help catch/stop evil madman. There’s a beautiful wife/girlfriend/partner/femme fatale who finds herself the target of either the same villain or another. And a child, usually the agent’s, who is in mortal danger can be saved by only our hero. Nah, what I really enjoyed was the injection of humor here and there, running jokes, one liners, made this a very enjoyable listen. Though I did not like the narrator’s style as it was very stilted in the narrative parts, but fine during dialogues.
