Preternatural Investigator Books Works for me

3rd book was a solid story and helps delve further into who Harbinger is. Like the other books, I am entertained and look forward to the next books. I am satisfied with the Narration, and that is very important for anyone who enjoys audio-books.
Onto to the next one.

These books follow Alec Harbinger, a preternatural investigator, and continues to build the group of friends that act as his support as he fights the things that go bump in the night.

An excellent end to the first story arc!

This was booked three of the Alex Harbinger PI series, and it wrapped up nicely story elements that were hinted at in the first two books.if you've enjoyed the series this far, this third book will not disappoint! My only real criticism is that I wish the books were longer. Four hours is fine for a short story, but not for what could be terrific fiction novels!

Love the narrator. He keeps the characters fun, clear, and with their own flare!

solid story

Good overall storytelling and characters are relatable, could use more emotional maturity the acting like teenagers in a crush thing gets old.

A New Harry Dresden is Born!

This three book series ( so far...) rivels Jim Butcher's Dresden series! Alex and Felicity's adventures is soom of the best reading ( hearing ? audio book after all ) I have experienced in a long time. I wait with bated breath for book number four.

All I can say is TYPE FASTER !!!!

Another great book in the series!

We return with Alec with his slightly sarcastic humor who now has developed a little bit of romance with Felicity. Felicity, who has returned from home, is not a liberated woman who loves her job and not willing to give it up for the man at home.

False memories, childhood mistakes and overprotective parents is a theme that is addressed in many urban fantasies i.e., Cassandra Clare’s and Joshua Roots. That will be the continuing underline story in the series.

In this novel, the sheriff has a new view of the world and the paranormal community pulls together to get rid of a threat. I like how the author is providing the time to develop the charters and the community. A few people in the community are aware of the type of investigation Alec does. Alec and the sheriff have learned how to work together. In many UF books, it is virtually impossible for the law enforcement to deal with the magical world. With that issue out of the way, it will be interesting to see how their relationships develop.


It is refreshing to get a new fresh UF series. I cannot wait until we find out more about Alec hidden memories.

Good characters and engaging plot. I found myself wishing for more chapters. Cant wait for more!

Si-fi action

I love the series, sometimes I just don’t feel like listening to someone being murdered or a bunch of kissing and babies crying, so I reach for a book by Greg Tremblay and my thirst is quenched. Just what the doctor ordered.
