I loved this story. Betrayal, redemption, suspense and heat. Piper Stone always keeps me on the edge of my seat, waiting to see what happens next.

New narrators for me and dual narration at that 😁 Simone wasn't terrible and Cade was great.
H🔥T‼ Sooooo hot! The mafia story is interesting too. They're made for each other 🥰 And oooooh my gawd that ending!! 🤯

Another excellent story

loved the build up to Blade's and Crystal's love story. Found the thriller part of the story held my attention in between the **heat**. Once again well done Piper Stone and narrators.

Piper did it again! I didn't figure the ending right! A last minute twist! And the Cohen's were spot on with the narration!!! This is a must listen!!!!

Oh my i would love to have a dominant Alpha male of my own this one was dangerous brutality entertaining story it sizzled and set my blood on fire!!
This is another classic read that left me feeling more than satisfied in all the right places.
Piper Stone hit this one out of the park.

SORRY, NOT FOR ME

All day long I’ve been turning this story on, then off and then back on again trying to like it.. but failing for several reasons. I really didn’t like the heroine who couldn’t keep her mind off sex, spanking, her hard nipples and how wet....blah.. blah... blah all because she saw a sexy scarred stranger in a Motel car park tinkering with his Harley. Next scene.. she’s knocking on his sleazy Motel door ALONE.. insta everything.. no reasons for being there.. no build-up,.. no foreplay.. no conversation.. no talk of safe sex or condoms.. or what orifice was or wasn’t off limits.. nope, straight in insta everything lubeless. I get hot ‘n heavy and I like it when it’s well done.. but this felt too incredibly stupid and unrealistic for a sensible adult woman/Bar Manager to do. I like to respect and root for the heroine I’m hearing about but, while Rome is burning all around Crystal at the Bar she Manages, this sub’s mind is still filled with her nipples, throbs and more. Blade’s story starts out good.. he’s a ruthless hot Mob Assassin.. shit happens.. now he’s on the run from his evil Mafia boss’ revenge but, as soon as Blade opens his Motel door, he becomes a man possessed.

Mysteries, secrets, suspense, danger, tension, dirty talk, sexcapades, characters.. all fell flat and lost me along the way because of their sex-drenched thoughts. Everyone wants to either be the spankee or the spanker.. Crystal’s bff wants (and gets) spanked.. Crystal had a first date with one of her customers and he wants to spank her, Blade wants to spank Crystal and Crystal desperately longs to be spanked by the mysterious biker in town. It could’ve got way better but I’ll never know because I wasn’t invested in the plot, I wasn’t interested in the characters and I wasn’t prepared to lose any more time on it.. so you have to just give-up on a story sometimes.

Worth a credit? No, I thought it was choppy and didn’t flow well, it wasn’t realistic, believable or enjoyable and, because I couldn’t finish it, it certainly wasn’t an addictive story. BUT please remember this is just my own personal opinion - you may love it. HOWEVER, I did love the dual POV duet-style narration by the Cohens who are a new to me team of narrators that I’d very much like to hear again.
