Dash Diet is new to me and listening to this book is quite insightful. There's a lot of diets out there and I've tried a few and this is something that I think I'd also try. Recipes seems easy to do as well. May even go and buy the print version.

It was interesting to learn (in chapter 2) about the energy and vitamin B (among other nutrients) in whole grains and how they help your enzymes, improve blood-sugar control and help to reduce the risk of a ton of illnesses. I liked hearing about quinoa too as this was a food I had been thinking about incorporating into my meals instead of things like rice. The grains food and other food groups info was really clear and concise here and I had been wondering about many of these elements but felt scattered in my research and was looking for something to lay it all out clearly, including recommended servings, which was so helpful to find here.

I'll be honest-I only bought this book because my wife kept nagging me about my blood pressure after my last doctor's visit (she was right, but don't tell her that!). I figured Id give it a shot before going on medication, and wow, I'm actually glad she pushed me. Julia Chatwin gets it she talks about her own struggles with eating badly, which made me feel less like a failure for living on takeout and frozen dinners for years. The 28-day meal plan saved my sanity because I'm terrible at figuring out what to eat, and I just followed it day by day without thinking too hard. My kids actually ate the turkey chill without complaining. which is basically a miracle in our house.

I love this book, simple and easy to listen, the narrator and sound are high quality. The information is good and I liked it a lot, how explain how blood pressure is affected including the glucose and how this diet will help with blood pressure and glucose and at the same time lose wight. I really liked this book and I hope you guys enjoy it.
