Loved Crazy, Wicked Love

Another great story in this series by Melissa Foster. I loved Gunner and Sidney’s relationship, their friendship turning into romantic love as well as the love they had for their pet animals. Ava Erickson and Jacob Morgan were terrific narrating this book and I loved their performances.

Adorable 🥰

I love Melissa's books because even though they touch on some difficult subjects, they are still relatively low angst/drama and still full of good feels. This was another in her MC series. I consider these MC-lite as they aren't dark and gritty and violent (I do love those as well), but instead more of a "we take care of our own" club. Sid and Gunny were such a good fit and so flippin cute. The narration is wonderful. Jacob and Ava are great together and bring a very similar energy to their performances which makes them a great pair to listen to.

Romance and Rescue dogs, need I say more?

Good addition to this series

This was a great friends to lovers read that Ms. Foster does a great job of creating. This addition to the Dark Knights Bayside series is no exception either. In this book we get Gunner and Sidney's story and what a great read it was. '

Gunner and Sidney are friends while serving in the military and that friendship continued once they were out of the service as well. The pair open a dog rescue together once their time in the service ends - one through retirement and one through injured discharge. Their friendship continues until Sidney decides that she wants to be seen as more than just a friend and takes measures to be seen by Gunner as more.

Gunner who always looked at Sidney as his friend goes on one roller coaster ride of emotions when he realizes that he wants more. The banter between the pair is fun and the chemistry once they give into it is off the charts.

The narration that was performed by Jacob Morgan and Ava Erikson was performed well. This pair of narrators do a great job bringing the stories that they read to life and truly make them an enjoyable listening experience.

This was a great read and a great addition to this series. I enjoyed the return of the characters from the previous series and I look forward to seeing what is to come in the future for this series. Overall, I recommend this book to others.

Friends to lovers

What a great story of two people who are best friends, roommates and working partners and they finally maneuver to be each others ride or die person. Sidney and Gunner have been in dangerous situations, have been there in the tough times but Sid wants more. She loves Dwayne "Gunner" Wicked but he only sees her a a buddy and friend, not as a woman so she must do what she has to in order to get his attention or she must move on from his life. Gunner loves Sid but he has never wanted to risk what they have on the chance of something more. When he thinks he may loose her to another man he finally opens his eyes to what's been there all along.

Love these characters and this entire family. This was a really good story and I enjoyed it and recommend it.

Ava Erikson and Jacob Morgan were great to listen to. They brought what was needed for Sid and Gunner.

EXCELLENT READ!

This was an excellent read. The relationship (friends to lovers) between Sid and Gunner makes you impatient to find out what is going to happen next. The narration was excellent and kept me entertained. The author did an excellent job with the character builds and plot. I can't wait to read the next book! I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
