Captain Craven thought his work was done, but the army now marches to meet the French in open battle!
The time to advance into Spain has come, and disrupting the French lines of communication is essential to covering Wellesley’s advance and preventing the French armies from combining into an unstoppable force. Craven must join the Bandidos as they wreak havoc on the French. Their task is to destroy vital supplies and capture enemy messengers.
But Craven and his comrades soon go from the hunter to the hunted as the ruthless Major Claveria is sent to bring their exploits to an end. Craven must fight on without hope of reinforcement on the road to Talavera and the waiting French army of 50,000 troops.

Embroiled Into The War
I liked book two even more than book one. The story became more exciting as Craven and his men actually took part in skirmishes with the French Army. I liked the growth in character which made Craven a more likeable man. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. I was entertained by Duncan Galloway's narration as his performance was easy to follow and pleasant to hear. I was given a copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which reflected my honest opinions regarding this audiobook.

Great Story
This was a book that I thoroughly enjoyed, it had great characters and a moving flowing story. I love reading about historic wars and this story does not disappoint. Recommended if you like military history. Duncan Galloway does a good job reading. I was provided this free audiobook in a promotion, and this is my voluntary review.
