Just

1st time I’ve read a book of this genre. I enjoyed it. However I wish there was more to the ending.

A Series?

I want to know what happens when she gets to Canada. The story just stops. I would love to read this in a series.

Enjoyable Book

I absolutely loved this book! The writing was beautiful and the story telling was great! I would recommend the audiobook.

A lovely story. The audiobook was narrated well and kept me engaged. Will look for more by this author and narrator.

short ending

I liked the story and characters, and the details of the era during King Louis XIV reign. But I was very disappointed with the ending, it felt short cut, with so many loose ends. I even googled if there was a second book to this novel.
Also, the narrator should have had a better French pronunciation, it was truly deficient.
Overall was a good story, but definitely not in my favorites.
