Great Writer!

I listened to the first few stories using the podcasts app on my iPhone. The narrator is different but very good. This is an entertaining audiobook.

I love this series.

The transition in narrators was difficult to get used to, but this author is a favorite of mine. While I enjoyed the first narrator (Starla Hutch ?) more than Vivienne Leheny, the adjustment was temporary and as the book goes on, you can hear Leheny becoming more comfortable with the narration. You can tell that she did try to carry over similar voices and personalities as the furst narrator, so that definutely helped.

If you could sum up Conspiracy in three words, what would they be?

I loved the series, the story flows from book to book almost seamlessly. It was easy to become involved with the characters and want them to succeed. The book moves along at a good pace. I was disappointed with this one because the narrator was different but once I got used to the new voice, it was ok. She does a good job, but she has a very different voice so if you listen to them in order one after the other, it startles you when you start the 4th book. It ends at a cliffhanger so I came to get the next book only to find that it has not been recorded.

Conspiracy is an action packed and entertaining mystery. I look forward to the next book.

This story leaves you hanging onto the edge of your seat from beginning to end. I can't wait to read the next book to see what happens next.

Wanting to change the path of her group. Taking on a kidnapping wouldn't be all that easy.

My new FAV

I gave this book a 5 star rating because the writing is excellent. I’m not a fan of fantasy/sci-fi books, so this was my first attempt at trying a new style. Lindsay Buroker didn’t disappoint. The way she brings the character’s to life is amazing. She really gets you caught up in the book. I recommend you start with the first novel in this series “The Emperor’s Edge”.

This is another excellent series by Lindsay Buroker! Her stories are imaginative , intelligent, and definitely enjoyable! Worth a listen/read!

I waited 3 years for this to show up in audio format, anywhere. I first bumped into The Emperor's Edge on Podiobooks 3+ years ago. The first 3 books are there. I have been waiting sense then for the next one to show up on Audible. When I finally get it, it sucks me in again and then ends in a cliff hanger. Grrrr. This is such a good tale. Please Audible and Ms. Buroker, don't make us wait to long for the rest of the series.
