For anyone out there who has not yet taken the opportunity to experience any of Lindsay Buroker’s creations, you can stop searching for your new obsession. This is one talented, and underrated author.
The Emperors Edge series has been very enjoyable and just keeps getting better with each volume I digest. Love your work Lindsay! Keep em coming😁

Waited seems like forever for this to come out. Love this series. I have listened to the first 5 books and 5.5 seems like 20 times already. Its like listening to an old friend whose adventures are sad / funny and captivating. Can not wait for Part 2:)

it gets better with each book.
series started out with a narrator that was not a good fit, but once Vivienne Leheny took over, it got a whole new life. An assassin is not believable when he sounds like a little girl. 🤔. lindsay Buroker is an excellent author.

Although action packed, Forged in Blood is very similar to the books before it. In spite of the fact that it was a bit formulaic, I still found it entertaining and interesting. I can't wait to finish the series.

Lindsay Buroker's books are the best.
This is part one of Forged in Blood and Book 6 of Lindsay Buroker's Emperor's Edge series. I read the book and loved it so much I had to buy the audio version. Lindsay Buroker never fails-whether she's writing fantasy, science fiction, mysteries, or steampunk. This steampunk series has a great group of characters who display varying degrees of hero qualities in pursuit of honor, statues and the perfect hat. Add non-stop action, snarkiness in spades and a touch of romance rounds out this great addition to the Emperor's Edge series.

Lindsey Buroker has become one of my favorite authors and her audio books are expertly performed.
