Wow. That got intense

I chose this story pretty quickly and just dove in. It started a little bit slow, but picked up momentum as it went. Those last few chapters are pretty unexpected but I will say no more, can't wait to read the rest in 5 months... The only downside is waiting so long for the rest of the story

The narrator did an amazing job! The story is great. Definitely worth the time and money. Looking forward to book two

Quite Good

I really enjoyed this book, and how it grabbed me right away and couldn’t stop listening even when I needed to sleep. The narration is amazing and I can’t wait until book 2 is out.

Story was unlike I’ve ever heard, a new take on vampires! 10/10 would totally recommend!

This book was hard to get through

I hated the inconsistent plot holes and information dumps. The main character is a whiny chatterbox with overloaded feelings and there’s not enough storyline to explain everything. There is a lot of incessant drama as filler that doesn’t help the story

I’ve loved Sapir Englard since Millennium Wolves and her new novel did not disappoint. I’m so glad she is getting the recognition she deserves as an author. Fell in love with both Aileen and Ragnar and can not wait till book two to see how it all ends. Characters are developed and lovingly flawed which makes them all the more endearing. Also loved both Narrator’s they truly bought the characters to life.

Very intriguing

Definitely the beginning of a wonderful series. Lots of tough topics are covered in a tasteful way that really adds something to the story. Talented storyteller is what I would call this author.

Slow Start

3.5 Stars. | I’m not sure what I think about this book. It was a slow start for me and at one point considered not finishing - if I did that kind of thing. Somewhere along the way, I started caring what happened to the characters and was genuinely interested in how things were going to turn out. There are still a lot of things unanswered in this book so I’m considering reading the second one when it comes out later this month.

I listened to the whole book in one day! Can’t wait for the second one to come out…don’t want to wait until November

Story development and characters

At first I wasn’t sure I was going to like this book… but after chapter 8 I was invested! Great story! The ending has me impatiently waiting for the second book!
