- Get unlimited texting and e-mailing for less than $10 per month
- Know what personal info not to post to social media sites
- Determine the best mortgage rate, and much, much more
As Clark demonstrates, there are myriad ways to reduce debt, buy smarter, and build a future. Follow his lead and he'll get you there.

Any additional comments?
This was a good book but if you listen to Clark radio show then you will already know most of his tips. I am a regular listener and knew most of this already but still learned a few things. It is worth a listen.Good Info but redundant

What was most disappointing about the authors’s story?
I listened to the first hour and was totally unimpressed. I skipped forward a few chapters, in case the book had a slow start, but ended up shutting it off. I did not finish the book.It basically advises buying the CHEAPEST crap available. Not finding good values, but literally dumpster diving, buying off brand foods, clipping coupons, etc.... It even went as far as suggesting going out of the country for cheap surgeries!
You dont need to read a book to know buying cheap will save money.....what is doesnt mention is you will get what you pay for.
Unless you make minimum wage, i think this book is a waste of money. I have a TOTALLY different philosophy as the author, i prefer to buy value.......not cheap. There is a difference.
Not too good

The other thing that got me was how often Clark's suggestion to save money is to call into such-and-such company's customer service and bitch and moan until they give you a deal. As someone who works in customer service, Clark Howard makes my life a little slice of hell. So, thanks for that.
If you want to know more about spending your money smarter, I recommend Suze Ormen's books. Don't buy this audio book. In order to reference the many many websites he wants you to check out you'll want the physical (or digital) book.
