As it turns out, I’ve been a lazy sob, and my short, uneventful life of playing games and getting up late wasn’t worth much. And so I don’t qualify to move on to the afterlife. I try to argue to the goddess in front of me that I do have skills, that it was hard work playing those simulation and management games. But she will not concede. In the end, I manage to get the benefit of the doubt, and a wager is made.

A great conclusion
To me it was a great way to wrap up this story and setup potential for a few spinoffs but also loved the authors ways of putting things into perspective.

a true final installment, if it is that is?
Few sieries manage to keep me hooked till the end and this one did. the mc ain't no fighter but brought the endgame none the less. The sieries changed my mind on how a fantasy/litrpg could play out with the mc bieng a businessman who actuly doesn't fight. Great series, Great narration and an Awsome author. thank you

A good way to tie up the series.
The first few books in the series were really one dimensional and only the premise of the series was what kept me going.
This book and book 7 really fleshed out the characters and actually added some depth to the characters and world that were missing from the series. I really enjoyed it.
It sounds like there is a setup for a continuation of the series or a spin off from it. With the improvement of the overall quality of writing and story telling, that is something I would be interested in reading.

Great, Fun, Interesting
Have been listening to this series back to back. Overall, great. My only critique: Not a big fan of the Joanna portion of the story. Feels forced? Not sure exactly.

Overdue
These last two installments took too long to arrive, but they were welcome. This latest book had a very thorough ending, but the word “postcoital” was a surprising choice.

Great ending
One of the few books that actually wrapped up the story in a satisfying way. Im glad they author ended it instead of continuously milking the cow and killing the fun. Not my most favorite series, but definitely in my top 10 list
