I was into it

I liked the story. Sometimes these stories can go on 30olus chapters, but I felt it didn’t keep me longer than it had to. Male narrator was phenomenal. Female narrator should have been different. Felt her voice didn’t fit the character. Good story overall.

Age Gap.

Good story, Age gap new adult romance, Main character that was a bit annoying to me.

Not a fan of the female narrator

Liked the story. Predictable, but good nonetheless. The female narrator’s voice doesn’t match the character at all. And she kept saying birfday for birthday and it was almost enough for me to quit listening 😂

deliciously forbidden

This book was the perfect lust-filled mix of forbidden, age-gap emotional love. Cherry and Cash fell together so seemlessly and their chemistry was so well done. What do you do when you fall into lust with and older man who happens to be your best friends dad? Well, Cherry made some missteps, but she was only 19 so I have her some grace knowing exactly how my mind worked at 19.
This book was a delicious treat and I can't wait to read the other books in this series.

The audio was a duet narration and that might just be my new favorite yet!

Excellent narration and great story

I really do like it when authors find a way to write forbidden type of tropes but with a great plot and story line. This book is exactly that, it surpasses just steamy scenes, there is a swoony love story there. The narration is SO good. I am starting to think Lacy is one of my fave narrators. And this book has the DUAL narration? Def a great audio experience!

CONNOR CRAIS (British accent)--the best thing here!!

I'm not really a fan of age gap stories especially when the fc is a teenager (though Cherry seemed older). That said, the story was actually better than I expected. As for the narration which was in DUET, the female narrator is not my favorite and didn't really fit with the character to me. I'd give her a 3/5. I loved the male narrator, Connor Crais, and enjoyed hearing him voice ( British) Cash and all of the other male (American) characters -- Jackson, Logan, the owner of the steakhouse, guys at the party, Cherry's ex boyfriend, etc. I'd give him a 5/5.

This book/listen was surprisingly good and the narration was on point but I’m all in with Connor Crais his voice is so velvety, yum❣️ If you like an age gap love with your daughters best friend that will take you on trip of many emotions you will like this book. This book has many triggers so be aware. Is this book worth the credit? Yes❣️🍒❤️‍🔥

A great age gap with fantastic narration!

If you’re looking for a fantastic age gap new adult romance, Cherry Bomb is the book for you! Cherry and Cash meet and really hit it off. Then things get complicated. Even though things are more forbidden than they first thought, they can’t seem to stay away from one another.

I read a book this year with a similar premise/troupe and it didn’t work for me, but I’m so glad this one did! Sometimes it’s how it’s written and how much you connect with the characters that make you love the book! And even though Cherry and Cash weren’t necessarily relatable to me, I could truly feel how much they cared about each other and the love between them.

Cherry Bomb was a quick listen with a lot of steam, angst, and a lot of heart. Carmel Rhodes writing was fantastic and I can’t wait to continue on with this series! I’m pretty sure the next book is a nanny book and I’m so here for that!

Steam for days!

This steamy age gap romance brought the heat! There was angst, emotion, drama, and passion. Cash was a delicious hero. Sexy, determined, caring, and persistent. Cherry was mired in past trauma. Her tough exterior hid a deeply vulnerable heart. These two were a perfect match, but their relationship was weighed down by less than ideal circumstances.

Lacy Laurel and Connor Crais did a wonderful job of fueling the emotion in the story. This was a duet style narration and it flowed flawlessly.
