Started to get annoyed with their communication but that’s marriage in the beginning,

Loved both characters and wanted to also choke them lol communication is so important. Sharing your marital problems with others and not your spouse is always going to end in disaster. Glad it ended happily

Chasing Us

Kat has done it again with Lex and Charlie. There is so much going on in this story. Love and loss, heartbreak and halarious moments. I am so in love with this story and I can not wait to listen to the rest of the series. I am so excited to see what comes next after that amazing epiloge. Once again the Narrator's did such a fenomonal job you can feel every emotion come off the page. Theo and Scarlett could not have done a better job❤️❤️❤️ listen to this series it's absolutely amazing!!

This is a toxic relationship. I absolutely loved this book, and I had to leave my morals outside to enjoy this series. I still think they’re not good for each other, and I don’t trust Lex. Won’t be surprised if he pulls another Samantha a few years from now.

With that said this is a great read. It shows the difficulties married couples go through. Especially how hard it is to adjust to being a new mom. I could relate the books did not prepare us for what happens when you give birth and the emotions that comes with it.

The supporting characters are fantastic. I absolutely love them all. Eric and Rocky❤️ Kate, Niki absolutely hilarious. The bachelor party 😂 good job Eric.

I recommend this book if you can leave your morals at the door and remember this is just a book. It’s not real lol

I usually dislike fake British accents, but both narrators were👌❤️

So funny!

Rocky and Eric are my favorite side characters. I laughed so hard during their back and forth banter. Lex and Charley are goals. Loved it!

Beautiful, Emotional

It’s a beautiful, emotional, raw love story that is a must read/listen. Lex and Charlie will always be my favorite couple.

Disappointing

This particular book in the series disappointed me. First book wasn’t bad. Last book in series should tie up issues from previous book. This book threw a serious problem smack in the ending and the way they dealt with it turned me off big time. This could possibly be the authors style of writing, I don’t know, but it so disappointed me. It ruined the series for me.
COMMENT ON NARRATORS: Why the British accent ?????? What was the added value? It made navigating their life difficult. He spoke as a “U.S.” teen/young man, and then he speaks with a thick British accent a few years later because his company was in London? It didn’t sound like the same character! Voices didn’t match (tone).

Welp.

I really wanted to love this story… and i do like that the characters are flawed but man i couldn’t like lex or root for him in this one. His actions alone almost had me dnf in the last few chapters.

HE pushed her away and then has the audacity to cheat. Cause yes he cheats on her imo and his inner monologue infuriated me during this chapter. He didnt deserve her. And her emotional cheating was brought on by HIS actions and treatment of her why the F did she apologize!? Anyway i hate the cheating trope when its between the mmc and mfc so this was an almost dnf. I just had to see it through. I want to read the next book but im gonna need a break.

If you want the angst and an eventual HEA then this book is really good. But i cant stress this enough Lex is a loser.

Spacing out

Too much too long. First book was great but this one had me spacing out and fast forwding thru some areas. Going to stop at this book.

Parts of this book were written brilliantly, but others not so much.

I laughed out loud at the bachelor parties for Lex and Charlie. Rocky was hilarious. The story of Charlie and was so good, but then she had chapters from Eric’s point of view which I did not like. It was still a good read, and worth a credit.

Good…but hear me out

It’s a good story but honestly both the MMC and FMC started to get on my nerves with their level of immaturity and toxicity. I feel like there was unnecessary drama and confusion and this all could’ve probably just been one book. Close to the end it got REAL hard as I struggled with the thought of DNFing. I made it through but at this moment I’m DNFing the series.
