I love this story. This is my third time listening. Jerome I need to know how Ms. Bijou doing now. I want know did she get married and have kids. Loved it!!

As a woman

Enjoyed the detail of the main character's experiences. Also the level of emotion Eric was able to see and bring out as a man. Still the bitter black woman theme, no matter how rich, open or beautiful.

Hard to finish

This book is so hard to finish. The dialogue is so slow and boring! Disappointed.

What does Susan Spain bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I love how she reads as if she is actually in the scene....As if she is NIA. Her accents are great too!

after the first book pleasure I had to read it. although it was 85% sex I still enjoyed it.

I loved the stories about what happens at Decadence. I listened to this and could not stop.

Too Wordy And Not Satisfying

First, I would like to say, "We get it...you know your way around word play." My goodness, I listened to Pleasure and was hoping Decadence would have closed this round and a round ramble of words, but nope it didn't. I found myself fast forwarding the long explanations of history and overly dramatic fashion show scenes.

The erotic scenes were good and Susan Spain was awesome at bringing this piece of work to life. Susan is what kept me here, otherwise I would have stopped. I finally just jumped to the end and was disappointed that Mr. Dickey used all of these mind blowing words that are sexy in their own way, but he wasn't able to reach down inside of himself and have Nia mature with a man. A man who would embrace her wholeheartedly and please her in her own elements. How can a mind as brilliant as Dickey's not bring this ecstasy full circle?

I'm sorry to have to say I hated this book it would be different if I was a nymphomaniac but I'm not book was boring as all get-out and I usually enjoy his books but this was horrible performance was good the story was just boring better luck next time.

I always wonder what happen to Nia after reading EJD first book of her Preasure. And just when you think it can't get no freakier.....EJD brings her back and she still wild as every. But you have to read the first book to fully understand what I mean.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Nia of course....because she is who she is....you either love her or hate her.
