Extraordinarily magical!

I highly recommend this fascinating book, and the series associated with it, to readers and listeners of excellent fantasy romance. The narration enhances this Audible edition, and gives appropriate voices to the characters. Enjoy!

Would you listen to Charmed by His Love again? Why?

i have listened to the book several times as it is a good book. The characters are well developed and it is a good story.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Peg is good but so independent that she nearly passes up a good thing in Duncan. Duncan is probably my favorite. He had his challenges too.

Have you listened to any of Allyson Ryan’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

just one other performance. Ms Ryan does well with these books and I have no compliant.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Oh yes, you will not listen or read a Janet Chapman book without a strong reaction. She manages to keep you right there when you pick up one of her books. There is mystery, love, sorrow and humor in ever book that she has written.

Any additional comments?

I love Janet Chapman's books, especially the first series of the Highlanders of Pine Creek. Sad that series nor the rest of this series is in audio. She writes a very good book that is hard to put down until finished.

So enjoyed

It was a very fun, exciting, heartwarming, story. It’s hard to pace myself for a full month, listening to it. It’s always nice to be able to backtrack and play parts over again. This was the second book in the series that I enjoyed very much.

A good "wholesome" read

Good storyline. Not a lot of sex scenes but that was good as the story was better without it. if you like Chapman's Highlander series you love this.

I loved this book. great narration and story line. I love the entire series I just wish the whole series was on audio.

love the story. love the author. love the narrative. magic brings two people and a family together breaking a family curse.

Good story

I love these stories. Don’t really like the narrator. She makes Peg sound like she’s on the verge of crying most of the time. And I literally cringed every time she mispronounced the word “chasm”. Then there’s the whole Irish accent she used for the Scottish Highlanders. So annoying.

Charmed By His Love

Duncan MacKeage is now in Spellbound Falls to build Max's new resort on his newly purchased land. He has a run in with Peg and her wild tribe of children. Between the two adults sparks fly but she knows that it can never be. Her past has put paid to her love life. With his own problems of magic, he is on a quest to ground his destiny. Will she be able to help him? What about the children and the local population?

Good read.

Laughed. Wish there was another book in the series to read. All Janet Chapman books need to be audible.
