Juniper and Apollo, where to even start with them? We start at the beginning when they were just little kids and already had that enemies thing going on. In reality, both of them from a very young age, had an amazing crush on the other one. When some not so nice words were spoken a flare of anger grew and continue to fester over the years. June and Apollo have been bickering and bantering and fighting with one another for almost as long as they have known one another.

Even as adults, they have continued their mortal rivalry. Juniper and Apollo fall in the same circles, and it absolutely makes her crazy when he uses her full name. It makes her heart go pitter patter. Apollo and June have an intense chemistry that just about anyone can see. One night they decide is what they’re going to give it and that is it well little did they know that one night was going to make everything that much more. Yet they continue their banter for a bit more.

Chapel Bend was a wonderful small town romance. I love Juniper and Apollo, even if it took them a but of time to find their way. But that’s the story, finding their way. Apollo is truly a top-notch and wonderful guy. June is a bit harder around the edges but in time you learn that she does have a softness within her. Together they make a great team it just took 20 couple years to figure that out.

I absolutely loved this book!! But I always love Kristen’s books! She always makes such a great sexy relationship you just can’t stop reading and never want it to end!

Another great visit to Huckleberry Bay!

I love an enemies to lovers story, especially one based in a small town, so they can't escape each other. The chemistry between June and Apollo has been glaringly obvious throughout the series, and I've been looking forward to finally watching their story unfold.

Every time Apollo calls her Juniper (her full name), my heart swooned a bit more. They're constantly thrown together and when little accidents start happening, you won't be able to put the book down. The audio narration held me in it's hooks and I couldn't get anything else done while listening.

I was captivated from start to finish, and in particular to learning more about the friendly ghost that always seems to be around. With amazing family dynamics, rivalries, and secrets - this is a story you don't want to miss.

I've enjoyed this series so much, and the fact that you get flashbacks from the characters pasts with the occasional journal entries is such a creative way to understand them better.

June & Apollo's story is so entertaining!!!

The book I’ve been waiting for in this Huckleberry Bay series!! June and Apollo have made many appearances in the first 2 books of this series and I’ve been anticipating their own story. It was just the perfect enemies to lovers turned secret relationship romance with an entertaining and easy to read storyline! Their chemistry is off the charts and the banter is just incredible between them! It is an entertaining small town romance with some twists thrown in along the way!

June and Apollo have known each other since they were kids. He’s also Luna’s brother, who is her best friend. June had a crush on Apollo growing up but then he did something that upset her and it changed everything for her. She may still find him attractive now but she wants nothing to do with him which just creates all the enemy filled banter and bickering. However, they ended up having a one night stand recently. Now June needs an electrician to help finish the chapel that she is turning into her home and Apollo is the electrician she needs for the job. What happens when they are now in forced proximity for this project? Apollo wants her but she doesn’t want to speak of the night they had together as he is still the enemy in her eyes.

Kit Swann and Lee Samuels did a superb job with this narration!! Their voices matched perfectly for June and Apollo as they both completely captured their personalities! There were several moments of the audio that it truly feels like you’re listening to a movie as it feels so realistic! It made the audiobook such an easy and enjoyable listen! Definitely recommend this one on audio!!!

A Quick Love Story

Chapel Bend is a best friend’s brother, small town romance where June and Apolllo sneak around until they multiply. It is low angst and sweet. It has a quintessential Kristen Proby vibe to the story.

Great addition to this series

I might have not gotten much sleep but the audiobook is so good. Kit Swann and Lee Samuels were fabulous and made it so easy to listen to and get lost in this audiobook.

I was excited to get to go back to Huckleberry Bay and get June’s story finally. June can hold a grudge. But she has so much chemistry with Apollo she gives in knowing how great it’ll be. I enjoyed these two. June wasn’t girly but Apollo liked her in her when she was dressed for work with her construction business as much as when she was dressed up and if that didn’t make me love him when when he’d remind her. He would be a hard one to hold a grudge against. Especially when she wanted to jump his bones. Apollo was the best and I’m so glad June came around without much drama to see it too and get past what had started the grudge. I really enjoyed this one.

Loved this Grumpy/Sunshine!

It's been a long time coming but I'm so glad to finally get Apollo and June's grumpy sunshine, frenemies to lovers story that has been building since Lighthouse Way. I loved Apollo in this book, he was so sure of June the whole book and so patient with her. June continues to be the independent strong willed boss babe who has supported Luna and Sarah through the previous two books. I loved that she was the grump in this grumpy sunshine pair, and no matter how much she pushed, Apollo did not leave or give up. This story continues to have the supernatural aspects that were introduced in book 1 and we get to see the progress of the inn and the girls and guys we love in this series. I hope Kristen Proby continues to write in this town, I really love the vibe!

I had an opportunity to listen to the audiobook narrated by Kit Swan and Lee Samuels and these too brought Juniper and Apollo to life! Spectacular performances. They really brought their acting chops to this one and I was impressed!

I don't normally like enemies to lovers but this book was more banter than enemies and I always love great banter. I have to be honest I haven't listened to the first 2 books in this series but now I plan too because I loved the friends in this book and am excited to listen to their series.
June & Apollo were what I love most about small town romance, they have a very long history, the same group of friends and the same love for their town. I also loved the side story about Rose, that added a little something fun to this book for sure. In the end this book left me smiling and excited to to back and visit the other books in the series.
The narration was good too!

Great series

I've enjoyed this series and I've been waiting for Juniper and Apollo' turn. They've been at each other's throats since they were young. Now they've had one night together and can't quit thinking about it. Will the animosity turn to more than dislike? Kit Swann and Lee Samuels are wonderful narrators.
