great job combines five collections into one

They make the reading experience even more fun It sparks curiosity, encourages imagination, and introduces young minds. Highly recommended

Keeps Kids Entertained and Curious

I wasn’t sure my kids would sit through something like this, but they loved it! The audiobook is lively, and the narrator’s voice really paints a picture. I like that the legends introduce kids to different cultures. It’s one of those audiobooks that sparks curiosity and imagination, which is rare these days. Definitely worth adding to the family listening list.

This was a really great collection. It contains:

I already listened to English, Scottish, and Welsh, and my original reviews for those are below. But Irish was new for me, as was Celtic. I've really enjoyed Guy Barnes narrating these, but A. Foxwell narrated Celtic and I really like his voice. I loved his accent and he had a nice even tone when narrating. This collection is definitely a bargain if you like legends, and stories that have morals at the end. As an adult, I can attest you do not need to be a kid to enjoy them.

English Legends for Kids

I loved this audiobook. I've listened to Japanese, Thai, Viking, and Russan Legends For Kids so far and this one was the most nostalgic for me. I'd studied Beowulf in depth in college, and grew up with the stories of King Arthur and the Sword and the Stone, Robin Hood, and Avalon. So it was fun listening to them here. This audiobook was the shortest out of the ones I've listened to thus far, though.

Guy Barnes did another wonderful job narrating these stories. I liked his different voices for different characters. I like that he spoke in such a way that it felt almost like he was in front of a crowd of children and telling these stories about these adventures and characters to get them interested and excited. He had a good energy to his narration. I'm looking forward to learning more legends from this author and narrated by Guy Barnes to bring them to life.

Welsh Legends for Kids

I enjoyed this audiobook. The battle between the red and white dragons was the most interesting, and Gelert the dog's story broke my heart. Guy Barnes did another wonderful job narrating these stories and bringing them to life.

Scottish Legends for Kids

Another fun addition to the Legends for Kids series (listening as an adult). Outlander began my interest in Scotland years ago, but I wasn't too familiar with Scottish legends beyond selkies and the Loch Ness monster. I enjoyed learning about them and all the different ties to nature. Once again Guy Barnes does a great job bringing these stories to life with energy and enthusiasm.

This audiobook is such a great find for anyone who loves myths and old stories but wants something easy to listen to with kids. It is very long but very worth it.
