Loved It!

I loved this audiobook! I recently listened to Japanese Legends and Thai Legends by this same author and narrator and loved them. So I'll listen to more of these books without even looking into which legends they are before going into them. I was excited to listen to some Viking mythology, completely forgetting that includes some well known names thanks to Marvel- Thor, Loki, Odin, etc. Then I was even more excited because I hadn't actually read their real stories before. So all was pretty new to me. As with the other books, I liked that there were lessons to be learned from each story and they were discussed at each conclusion.

Guy Barnes did another wonderful job narrating these stories. I liked his different voices for different characters. I like that he spoke in such a way that it felt almost like he was in front of a crowd of children and telling these stories about these adventures and characters to get them interested and excited. He had a good energy to his narration. I'm looking forward to learning more legends from this author and narrated by Guy Barnes to bring them to life.

Fun Viking Adventure for Kids and Adults!

This audiobook was such a fun way to dive into Norse myths with my grandson. The stories are exciting and full of humor and adventure and the narrator really brings everything to life. It’s perfect for curious kids and honestly I enjoyed it too.

Viking & Norse Legends for Kids by Histroy Brought Alive is a fantastic way to teach children about the history of ancient Civilizations. Guy Barnes did a fantastic job with the narration. The story is entertaining, interesting, informative, fun, and enjoyable for kids. Norse mythology is about the Gods of the Viking people. This will keep kids entertained on long car rides. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. Highly recommend

Good mix of fun and history

This book does a great job making Viking myths fun without losing the depth. The stories of the Gods are told in a way that's entertaining, and have enough real context that the kiddos can learn something too. The narration is solid, energetic but not cheesy. If your kid is into adventure, mythology, or just needs something more engaging than a textbook, this is a win.
