Great for introducing Countries mythology

English Legend for kids by History Brought Alive is a wonderful way to learn about English mythology. Guy Barnes did a fantastic work with the narration and he makes it entertaining. The story is interesting, entertaining, engaging, enjoyable and keeps kids interested and engaged. It’s a great way for kids to learn about different cultures. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. Highly recommend.

Amazing audiobook!

This audiobook was fantastic! Really brought me back to my childhood with all of these classic stories. I loved the good vs evil themes and how the good had to overcome to prevail. Narrator was fantastic as he was very animated and the accent is a really nice touch. This is a wonderful audiobook and great introduction to the English Legends we all grew up with. Well done, 5 stars all day!!

Loved It

I loved this audiobook. I've listened to Japanese, Thai, Viking, and Russan Legends For Kids so far and this one was the most nostalgic for me. I'd studied Beowulf in depth in college, and grew up with the stories of King Arthur and the Sword and the Stone, Robin Hood, and Avalon. So it was fun listening to them here. This audiobook was the shortest out of the ones I've listened to thus far, though.

Guy Barnes did another wonderful job narrating these stories. I liked his different voices for different characters. I like that he spoke in such a way that it felt almost like he was in front of a crowd of children and telling these stories about these adventures and characters to get them interested and excited. He had a good energy to his narration. I'm looking forward to learning more legends from this author and narrated by Guy Barnes to bring them to life.

Entertaining

English Legends for Kids is an entertaining book to listen to. It's a good mix of stories and facts. I only wish is that it had been a bit longer.

Interesting!

This collection of English legends is very interesting to listen to. I enjoyed listening to a different chapter each day, and I'm sure my 9-year-old will be fascinated. My favorite part was the chapter about King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table.

Simple children’s legends

This was told in a very simplistic way for kids, which may or may not be what you wanted. I loved the narration though. The most popular English legends were included as well.
