Should be a movie!

Nice rendering of a short novel, which evolves into a hearty homage to father and son relationships. Unexpected turns of plot power a WWF inspired tale that’s believable and yet bizarre at times. The choice of first person puts it all in perspective for the listener and keeps it entertaining.

Gory Wrestling Fun

Well this took a turn I didn't expect. Ramsey Wrestling went from a small indy fed into a more extreme version of CZW if you can believe that! Makes ECW look like 80's WCW/WWF

Enjoyable!!

Very unique story line! In the beginning I was concerned how the story could last for 6 hours. I never could have imagined how it unfolded! Bravo Geoff!!! (NGL...I wish you had narrated it yourself)

What is Your Price?

This was a crazy ride. I used to be a wrestling fan back in the day, so I get the allure. I've seen the debut of The Undertaker at a live show in Boston, along with Roddy Piper's bum, so you know I was a fan.This went from a sweet story like Field Of Dreams to a crazy, dark, insane story. I love extreme horror, and was already a huge fan of Sturtevant's brand of wacky, so when this book came out, I grabbed it as soon as I knew. If you're a fan of this author, wait a minute... you'll GET it. As they say in Mortal Kombat, FINISH IT! You'll end up with some food for thought about your own price. I've already reccomended this book to two people, even though I've only just finished. Hempel is, as always, an excellent voice actor.

Was a good listen

First let me say pro-wrestling is not my thing so I didn't enjoy this as much as others may have. I thought the story line was good, plot was good. The author gives you something to think about and the issues people could have. I didn't find this as humorous or as wacky as some of his work. I found it to be interesting and enjoyable.

I thought the narrator did a great job, wonderful sound effects. There are not any background noises, if any breaks were taken I could not tell. I thought the performance was outstanding, the character voices were great, I knew who was talking, what they were feeling, the narrator gave true emotion. I thought the narrator did a wonderful job on the female and male voices. This was a very clean and clear audio that I enjoyed.

I have to say if I was in to wrestling I may have enjoyed this more.

A fun ride for sure!

Geoff Sturtevant delivers another outside the box story, entertaining from the beginning right up to the last word. This was a fun ride, funny, gross, macabre and engaging. Joe Hempel delivers the story as if he was having fun as well. 5 Star performance from both!

Pleasantly surprised

Likable characters and an intriguing plot. It's not necessary to be a big wrestling fan to enjoy the story, although I bet it reads differently for them. Great pacing and the narrator voiced the characters well.

Sturtevant is a badass!

I absolutely loved the book. It was definitely entertaining and, as with anything Geoff Sturtevant writes, it was very well written and full of the little details I've come to love in his stories. I would happily recommend this to anyone. The narrating is also topnotch.
