so many plot twists!!!

this book 2 did NOT disappoint, it was so fun listening and hearing all the twists and turns. I will not say too much as to not give it away, but that ending was total surprise! great listen and couldn't stop!

Just a fantastic book! The writing and storyline are phenomenal and the twists and turns are really unexpected! Loved it! The narrators are, of course, excellent. I’m definitely looking forward to more in the series!

They just keep getting better! Brutal Savage (book 2 in the Savage King series) cranked up the action, the twists, and still delivered all the passion and sweet moments I wanted.

We meet Tynan—next in line to take over the Irish mob, but only once he’s married. As if that’s not enough pressure, he’s also suddenly guardian to his cousin’s young son after tragedy strikes. Cue a traumatized little boy who won’t speak, a ticking clock on finding a wife, and the weight of the mob world on his shoulders. No big deal, right?

Enter Evaline (aka Elara), the new teacher’s assistant who has already bonded with the boy. Tynan is instantly drawn to her, and when he realizes she’s running from something dangerous, he offers her protection—in the form of a marriage of convenience and a future family. I loved this book more than the first the characters story line the twist wow just wow🔥🔥🔥

Poor female narrator

The female narrator makes the ending of all her sentences sound like interjections. No range. I couldn’t listen to it in one go because she kept making me feel so irritated. She sounded shocked with every phrase. When she was supposed to be scolding him she sounded shocked, when she was emotional she sounded shocked, Story is great though!

What a STUPID Female 😒

Who trys to gain the attention of men, when they are trying to stay under the radar? An immature STUPID female...Alara...SMH. Then, after being broke, when she finally gets money, she's wasteful and uses it to play practical jokes...immature. But, a lot if men like dumb, soooo 🤭. Narration was great. Steamy scenes. Interesting storyline. I liked this more than I expected to.

the twist and turn!

I love the books by Lillian Harris! This one though....had a twist and turn I did NOT see coming!!! also the spice is oh so good!! SUCH a good book, love this whole series! I can't wait for the other books in this series to come out on audible!

My favorite series!

The narrator can sound like BBT in SLINGBLADE when he gets serious lol but it’s my favorite series so i was able to get past it. This book is just as good as the first book! Mobs, spice, suspense and love. Who doesn’t love it?
