These books are so entertaining you will really enjoy each book just as much as I have.

Still Loving this series

still a wonderful series something that anyone who has ever enjoyed series life The Dresden Files must add to there collection.

Not as exciting as the 1st, better in some regards

This book isn't as exciting as the 1st in some regards as it slows down with what feels like a lot of fill in info, yet to start, again in the middle and definitely towards the end it picks up enough, is exciting & unique enough that in some ways makes this series getting better.

Werewolves, vampires, demons, oh my.

Enjoyable, and the reader is growing on me rather quickly. Fans of the Underworld series looking for more from a similar universe should find themselves satisfied by this series.

The chosen with a challenge

This is the first book on the series that had a moment that put a lump in my throat. ARG! I hate those moments! But still awesome, I hope the series continues like this.

My Absolute Favorite Series....EVER!!

I love the way John Conroe's characters grow and change over the years. While they are fantastic and unbelievable, they feel like real, genuine people. James Patrick Cronin never fails to bring them to life.
Thank you both for the hundreds of hours of listening enjoyment.

Comically overpowered MC's, but a fun read.

The man characters in this series are so amusingly overpowered and amazing and stunning that I've wondered how the narrator was able to read some parts without giggling. Chris is the strongest and fastest and the most ripped and his situational awareness is so good that he can stand inside a building and sense everything outside, even the plane flying overhead. Oh, and his aura can slice through anything, and EVERYONE stares at his violet eyes like they're the most incredible thing in the galaxy. (Because apparently nobody has ever heard of colored contacts before.) She's the most powerful and gorgeous vampire on the planet and everyone adores her, and if she dances it's the most amazing thing. But even though they're rich and powerful and can kill dozens of bad guys in mere seconds (did I mention that she can cut through stone with her voice?), they're still loving and caring and they'll do anything to protect all the weaklings around them. It's all just plain silly, but you know what? I thoroughly enjoyed it anyway. This series is over the top fun. Give it a try.

Good series. Good writing. Exceptional narration. This series just keeps getting better and better. Chris's abilities grow with every book. I do recommend that you start from book one to get the maximum enjoyment from the series. You won't regret it.
