Hmmm this book series had great potential but it was ruined by the awful female narration no offense to Ms. Kelly just stating a fact. If you don't have a great listening experience why bother any further with a review. Is it worth a credit? NO, thankfully this book was free!

not really a 'stand alone' book.

listen through 14 chapters before giving up. there is too much that doesn't make sense on its own.

Good listen

First time listening to this author and I’ll have to say it was pretty good.

bound by darkness

wow wow what a storyline between Kai and Rose. these two was definitely made for each other. drama, crime mob, revenge and hot sexy reads. narrator was great. can't wait to continue

Slow burn

I loved the story. It was a bit of a slow burn. I did have a really hard time finishing the audio though. I did not like the narration from the female perspective. The male was on point. But the female was really hard to listen to. She sounded young, childish, and so bored all at the same time. I had to force myself to continue listening because I really did enjoy the story itself. I needed to know when/how/if Kai got his vengeance against that awful council woman.

The story of a victim turned villain. Got to love the heroine saving the story

I went into this book without reading the info, expecting the POV to be Adrian & Valentina again, I was pleasantly surprised that it switched up and we got a different POV. I loveee Kai, Rose is annoying sometimes, the narrator's voice doesn't help.

Great book

Love this series it was a great listen I can’t wait to read more of his books

Kai and Rose

Wow. A raw, intense and dark road to travel with Kai and Rose. I was on the edge of my seat with my heart pounding, anticipating what will come next. Poor Rose went through so much, she finds courage through rage and overcomes so much. I absolutely enjoyed this story. Narration was good.

Bound to Darkness

This story had me wanting to hit an Old Cougar Mafia Woman abusing a young man. He was not a good man, he was in the Mafia as a hitman. But the story had you thinking he did not deserve her treatment of him. He was protecting a young woman and caring for her wounds at the time this Cougar Mafia Woman took him. This story, has love, sex, hate, killing, and happiness. Read Vow to Protect-1, Promise to Keep-2, and Bound to Darkness-3, by J.L. Beck and Monica Corwin. Great Read!
