Very enjoyable!
I really loved this book. The story intriguing and entertaining. The narrator was fantastic. She was so very spot on and made you believe the story and characters. I finally found a detective to replace the late Sue Grafton's Kinsey Milhone. Cass is such a sassy interesting character which keeps the listener interested.

Tracy Clark is now one of my best authors! Cass always had a good heart trying to help her clients by any means necessary! I want to know when will her love life begin? One of my favorite parts is how deftly Clark reminds us of what happened in the previous book without it being a straight “recap”; the characters have grown and changed in the intervening time so the way that they view the events of the previous book in the series changes too.

A Chicago PI Story
Narrator, Shari Peele has the perfect voice for Cass Rains, former Chicago homicide detective, now PI. She is really convincing in this role. BORROWED TIME, the 2nd book in author Tracy Clark's series, is the story of a dying man whose accidental death is unacceptable to one friend who just won't let it go. Once Cass begins to believe that the death was not an accident, the trail leads to a diabolical plot and the growing chance that the police will never thoroughly investigate the case.
Great plot, wonderful characters, perfect narrator. A little too much description, but a good mystery overall.

Great Story
Tracy did it again! It is a real nail-biter that keeps you on to the last word. Cassandra is the PI whom I would hire if ever needed (lol). I recommend it.
