Unique and Intriguing
I was intrigued with this book. I'd never heard of Borderline before and I was fascinated to learn about it. The story itself was beautiful. I loved the way Matt and Felicia worked with one another to overcome their issues; their approach of honesty vs. kindness was wise beyond what most people would practice. Matt's patience was incredible and Felicia's determination to battle the symptoms of her disease to make their relationship work was courageous. I really enjoyed that they weren't basing their relationship on physical needs or desires, but on taking care of one another and helping each other achieve their highest potential--whatever that ended up being. Their desire to help Nicole was so sweet. They really understood her needs and when Nicole learned to trust them their phenomenal journey together as a family was begun. And then you add in their "support team" Maxine, Julie, and Shelley, wow! What a delightful story!
The narration was well done. That is always a big plus to audio books.
I requested this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving this review.
