good story but the reader was ehh.

Story kept me listening but the reader would stop after every word. The sentences weren't fluid at all. it made it hard to relate to reach character. she had a pleasant voice overall.

Good mystery/thriller. A young Grace sees her missing mother get killed and finds herself being stalked by a sex trafficking killer that wants $ her mom stole from him. The story revolves around this young troubled girl, a very pregnant cop and the cops ex boyfriend who she hasn't seen for years. The ex boyfriend is the paramedic who finds the murdered mother and Grace on the brink of death. Grace has a morbid past of sex abuse, a serious heart condition, and a mother that abandon her 11 years ago. The narrator did a fantastic job with this book. Good suspense mystery and a good ending. All n all I enjoyed the book.

Very well developed story line & characters. A page Turner. Look forward to more books . Had just the right mix of everything I love in a book !

Seemed like a lot of build up for nothing. I'm not ready to write off the author though. I will try again

I hope I just misread and this was an abridged version as this has a lot missing from chapter to chapter

Well narrated and easy to listen to. A classic mystery novel. I took off one star because I figured out the mystery early on. However, I enjoyed the story and seeing how the evidence led them to my conclusion.

Wait for it, it'll get better

Storyline is good but never ended up being too exciting and there's never any type of exciting plot twist. Overall, just an average mystery

How can this be - heart transplant does all this?

Take this story as just a story. Don't pay attention to the story flaws such as how does a person that had a heart transplant just 30 days before do so much in the 2 weeks this story takes place. Hmm.. so some of it just is not plausible. Even so it is entertaining.
