I read this book over and over again.

I was very excited that this got released on Amazon. The narration of the story does not disappoint. I viewed Mark as more of an adult. Like a typical isakai protagonist. However, after hearing the voice acting. I think I finally see him as everyone around him would. A forlorn, emotional and reclusive teen. I got alot more sympathy for the village now.

Lets be honest it's a good start but the book is just good not great and slightly above decent but with oh so much potential hoping for the best.

Kept my interest

I love these kinds of books but have been having trouble getting bored in the middle of some. This one kept my interest the whole way through.

I really liked the premise of the book, and was going to grab the Kindle version, but then saw that Jonathan was the narrator, and had to get the audiobook. can't wait to hear the next one.

a wonderful trek into another world with heart and grit.

it was a refreshing isakai. the characters in the world felt like they lived there. the main character was genuinely conflicted. Power and magic systems are interesting, and how they MC interacts is on brand with himself. Story doesn't ignore just how difficult it would be for an adult mind with a raging hormones and YA brain. There is absolutely zero romance, anywhere, by anyone. This feels missing and I hope it's athas least cursory inclusion in the next. Zero mention of how bathroom and waste is handled in the world. Would be fine, except it would play a big role in the start of the story. Perfect 5/7, would read again.

Great wit, story was engaging and fun.

Great story, a refreshing twist on the tired isekai genre. I was not able to guess the plot and had fun listening to the entire book. No dead wood here.
